He was predeceased by: his wife Janice Nix; his parents, Floyd Nix and Lennie Nix; his siblings, Alvin Nix, Garey Nix and Kay Rattray; and his siblings-in-law, Wayne Rickles, Johnny Owens and Deanna Nix.
He is survived by: his sons, Blane Nix, Tony Nix and Kevin Nix; and his stepdaughter Stephany Truett. He is also survived by 7 grandchildren; and 4 great grandchildren.
