She was predeceased by: her mother Romain Johnson; her husband Joe Louis Howard; and her son Anthony Howard. She is survived by: her children, Rainiar G. Howard (Cathy), Robert L. Howard, Larry D. Howard (Veronica) and Carla R. Freeman (Toney); her niece Tarshalyn T. Howard; her brother Johnathan Johnson; her sisters-in-law, Dorothy and Queen Esther; and her cousin Tarva Vaughn. She is also survived by grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins, family, friends.
