She was predeceased by: her husband Curtis Patrick; her parents, Casto Smith and Beulah Smith; her son Wayne Patrick; her daughter-in-law Patty Patrick; her brothers, Earl Smith and Harold Smith; her sister-in-law Patsy Smith; and her nephew Vann Earl Smith.
She is survived by: her children, Ronnie Patrick and Anita Gibbs (Rocky); her sister-in-law Jackie Smith; and her grandchildren, Christy Aycock (Hal), Elizabeth O'Clair (Jeff), Michael Patrick (Reese) and Lacey Gibbs (Stephen). She is also survived by numerous great-grandchildren, nieces, and cousins.
A graveside service will be held on Wednesday, September 30th 2026 at 12:00 PM at the Crestwood Memorial Cemetery (2209 E Broad St, Gadsden, AL 35903).
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorial donations be made in Annie Ruth's honor to the Tunnel to Towers Foundation (t2t.org), in tribute to her late husband Curtis's years of service as a firefighter.
