She was predeceased by: her husband Calvin Sims; her children, Charlene Sims, Maxine Jones and Mike Sims; her siblings, Glenice Laney and Gary Blevins; and her parents, Check Blevins and Eunice Blevins.
She is survived by: her grandchildren, Amanda Hunter (Josh) and Daniel Sims (Lindsey); and her great grandchildren, Ada Hunter, Jael Hunter and Kailee Hunter.
In lieu of flowers the family requests memorials be made to North Gadsden Church of God.
