She was predeceased by: her husband Ira J Whaley; her children, Vickie Lynn Whaley and Ira Keith Whaley; her mother Mattie Sarratt; and her siblings, Dan, Burt, Jerry, Douglas Sarratt, Doris Nell Hunsucker, Jean Proctor and Pauline Hunsucker.
She is survived by: her daughter Karen Saxon (Ed); her sisters, Lydia Stephens of Gadsden, Alabama, Sarah Lee and Mary Jane Sarratt of Collinsville, Alabama; her grandchildren, Corie Stawicki (Bob) of Cumming, Georgia and Jonathan Saxon (Shanna) of Panama City, Florida; and her great grandchildren, Tyler, Joseph, Carolann Stawicki, John David, Mac, Rain and Ezra Saxon. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, and life long friends.
