She was predeceased by: her parents, Ernest Brown and Ada Brown (Pinkston); and her husband Earl Rooks. She is survived by: her daughter Phyllis Fulmer (Jerry); her grandsons, Doug Horton (Laura) and Mark Fulmer (Alana); her great grandchildren, Kaitlyn Horton, Luke Horton, Ethan Horton and Trinity Fulmer; and her niece Brenda Humphries.
Visitation was held on Saturday, September 26th 2026 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Crestwood Funeral Home (2209 E Broad St, Gadsden, AL 35903). A graveside service was held on Saturday, September 26th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the Crestwood Memorial Cemetery (2209 E Broad St, Gadsden, AL 35903).
