He was predeceased by: his parents, Edward Griggs and Thelma Griggs; and his sisters, Greta Meier (Ted) and Linda Griggs. He is survived by: his children, Betty Childers (Jerry Walker), Ronnie Waters and Clarence Griggs; and his grandchildren, Jimmy Faust (Lorie), Angie Gossman (Jamie), Ricky Griggs (Elizabeth) and Micky Griggs (Gracie). He is also survived by 11 great-grandchildren; and 4 great-great-grandchildren.
