She was predeceased by: her parents, Lily Mae and Biddy Garman; her sisters, Joyce Martin and Judith Faye; and her husband Richard Joseph Watkins.
She is survived by: her brother David Gartman; her children, Richard Joseph Watkins Jr. (Teresa), Jonathan David Watkins and Amy Elizabeth Watkins (Mark); her grandchildren, Richard Joseph Watkins 3rd (Rachael), Sarah Watkins, Jordan Loftis, Jared Loftis (Christy) and Jayden Loftis; and her pets, Pepper, Muffin and Molly.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, September 30th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Collier-Butler Funeral Home (824 Rainbow Dr, Gadsden, AL 35901). A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, September 30th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers donations can be made to The Church At Wills Creek Food Pantry, Gadsden, Alabama.
