She is survived by: her brother Dr. Emilio Quintero Alfaro (Elizabeth Noriega); her children, Carlos Roberto Alfaro (Nilsa) and Ivonne Rivera (Ramon); her daughters-in-law, Rita Calderon and Miriam Monge; her grandchildren, Sylvette Alfaro (Luis), Carlos Jose Alfaro (Zaira), Carlos Ivan Alfaro (Nesh), Zahira Alfaro, Ritalyn Alfaro (Joselito), Ivonne Joiner (Richard), Carlos Roberto Alfaro (Ely), Franchesca Igou (Justin), Cristina Alfaro (Ileana), Karla Plam (Andrew), Carlos Xavier (Sandra), Frances Kademir Alfaro (Alex Soto), Ohmar Panet (Dilaila) and Jose "Pepito" Ortiz (Yolanda); and her great grandchildren, Jose, Zamira, Ahiezer, Carlos Andrés, Julian, Andrea, Yaimar, Diego, Ariana, Carlos Roberto "Carlitos", Bruce, Jean Carlos, Mariana, Caila, Aleanis, Lexis, Ellie, Easton, Vivian and Victoria. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
