Cecilia Dorsett Whitt Obituary

We are sad to announce that, on August 21, 2025, at the age of 78, Cecilia Dorsett Whitt (Gadsden, Alabama) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Cecil Dorsett and Dorothy Dorsett; and her sisters, Sheila Hulsey and Imelda Beasley. She is survived by: her husband Ralph Whitt; her sons, Mark Whitt (Nancy) and Scott Whitt (Holly); her grandchildren, Sarah Grace Whitt, Nathan Whitt, Sally Whitt and Marcy Whitt; her brother Dr. Cecil Dorsett; and her close friend Dr. Barbara Dorsett. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.

The family welcomes flowers, or donations may be made to the National Ovarian Cancer Coalition.
