He was predeceased by: his wife Peggy Jones; his daughter Carol McCarley; his sons-in-law, Dennis Franks and Tom Fus; and his great grandchild Oz Lipscomb.
He is survived by: his children, Vicki Fus of Gadsden, Wendy Franks of Gadsden and Steven Caraway (Holly) of Leesburg; his grandchildren, Randy Lipscomb (Bethany), Kevin Lipscomb (Angela), Blake Lipscomb (Jordan), Ryan Franks (Katie), Rachel (Josh Dunn), Tammy Hall (Joey), Dale Owens (Jennifer), Danny Owens, Christian Caraway (Stormie) and Brandon Caraway; and his caregivers, Shelly Radclisse, Jane Martin, Dawn Brown, Savannah Riddlespur, Brenda Watts, Sherry Afleck, Tami Shadoan, Jana Corbin, Van and JoAnn Lockridge. He is also survived by 22 great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren; along with other friends and family.
