She was predeceased by: her husband John Quinzy Adams Adair Sr.; her sons, John Adair Jr. and Leroy Adair; her parents, Thomas Adams and Odessa Kirby; her sisters, Alice, Ailene and Katherine; and her grandchildren, Leroy Jr., Tayon Jackson and Adrian Deshawn Adair.

She is survived by: her children, Shirley Scott, Earnestine Adair, Norma Adair and Larry Adair; and her daughters-in-law, Thelma Adair, BettyAdair and Shirley Adair. She is also survived by eight grandchildren; twenty great grandchildren; five great great grandchildren.
