We are sad to announce that, on May 23, 2020, at the age of 90, Christine Meers (Gadsden, Alabama) passed away. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Christine Meers to pay them a last tribute.

She was predeceased by: her husband Emmett; and her siblings, Lillian White, John Whitt, Novella Broom and Calvin Whitt.

She is survived by: her daughter Anne Meers Coker; her granddaughter Jennifer Coker Henslee; her great grandchildren, Alexander and Andrew; her sister Frances Abel; and her nieces, Pat Baker (Charlie), Judy Lockridge and Rebecca Franklin (David).

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the American Pancreatic Cancer Society.Special thanks to Encompass Hospice, Dr. Thomas Harper and Nurse Jennifer Gortney.Family will receive friends at the funeral home Sunday from 1:30 until the time of service.
