He was predeceased by: his father Garry Boyd; and his grandparents, Boyd, Loyce McLendon, Curtis Boyd and Frances Boyd.

He is survived by: his mother Barbara Boyd; his brother Kevin Boyd (Kendra); his nieces, Kourtney Ford (James) and Kaci Boyd; and his nephew Lexon Mayo (Chelsea). He is also survived by many extended family members and friends.
