He was predeceased by: his parents, Zedric Osborn and Dora Johnson Osborn; his brother William Howard Osborn; his siblings-in-law, Roy Lyle Smith and Clytee Smith Hansberger; his nephew Joey Underwood; and his niece Susan Hansberger.

He is survived by: his wife Carol Smith Osborn; his sons, Jason Osborn (Lynn) of Priceville and Jesse Osborn of Rainbow City; his grandchildren, Jeff, Melina and Andrew Osborn; his siblings-in-law, Myra Sue Osborn of Boaz and Willie Smith (JoAnn) of Belmont; and his nieces and nephews, Tony Osborn, Steve, Greg, Tim, Robbie Smith, Mitzi McLaurine, Becky Kinney and Lisa Hansberger.
