With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Craig Lynn Brooks (Gadsden, Alabama), whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on September 27, 2025 at the age of 71. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his grandfather Dr. Walter Rowan; his parents, Billy Brooks and Mildred Brooks; his brother Robin Brooks; his parents-in-law, Frank and Ola Still; and his brothers-in-law, Gary Still, Bob Davis and Harold Bowling.

He is survived by: his wife Anita Brooks; his siblings, Bill Brooks (Debbie), Sandra Hamilton (Jud), Bonnie Sue Bowling, Debbie Hammock (Danny), Rowanna Hudson (Don) and Amy Brooks Ernest; his brother-in-law Michael Still; and his close friend Roger Helm. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews; numerous cherished friends.

A celebration of life was held on Tuesday, September 30th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Collier-Butler Funeral Home (824 Rainbow Dr, Gadsden, AL 35901).

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made in Craig's memory to St. Jude's Children's Hospital or to Gadsden Christian Fellowship, 719 Nunnally Avenue.
