We are sad to announce that on August 3, 2020, at the age of 70, David Lynn Godfrey in Gadsden, Alabama passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert L. Godfrey and Jean Godfrey; and his parents-in-law, Hoyt and Margaret Mullins. He is survived by: his wife Louise "Shorty" Godfrey; his children, Cindy McGinnis (Todd), Leslie Giardelli (Nick), Davy Godfrey and Steve Johnson (Vonda); his brothers, Bobby Godfrey (Julia) and Paul Godfrey (Patsy); and his sisters-in-law, Mattye Pearson and Edna Earle Henson. He is also survived by 9 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren.
