He is survived by : his daughters, Jasmine Taylor (Wesley Bowen) and Savannah Taylor (Sam Fischer); his sisters, Susie Kilgro (Jerry), Debra Cannon (David Hanvey) and Cynthia Woodward (Roger); and his grandchildren, Hudson Taylor, Bryson Bowen, Kaia Fischer and Miller Bowen (April King).

A memorial service was held on Monday, May 27th 2024 at 2:00 PM at the Walnut Park (300 Wilson St, Gadsden, AL 35904).
