He is survived by: his wife Deborah Lee Mitchell; his children, Leah Mitchell Belcher (Casey Belcher) and Benjamin Mitchell (Holli Mitchell); his grandchildren, Anna Lee-El Belcher, Noah Slate Mitchell and Hollyn Jo Mitchell; his siblings, Wendell Mitchell (Linda) and Carol Mitchell (Carrie Lee Chambers); his aunts, Lorene Mitchell Boddy (Bill), Pauline McCullough and Dollie Brown (Terry); and his friends, Ann Quarels, Martha Root, Brian, Lynne Scott, Rick, Vicky Byrd, Fedrick, Dorethea Massey, Chip, Donna Turner, Patti McGatha, Tommy and Tuwona Chambers. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and cousins.
