He is survived by: his wife Dianne Brown Copeland; his children, Rhonda Hall (Marty), Dedra Rasbury (Dunn) and Jason Copeland (Heather); his grandchildren, Meagan Robertson (Kyle), Jacob Hall (Mary Kyle), Savannah Roberts (Glavine), Hunter Rasbury (Kaitlin), Carlee Roden (Isaac) and Kyle Copeland; his great grandchildren, Adleigh, Madelyn, Houston, Mary Ellis, Caroline and Lowen; and his sister Janet Willingham (Roger).
The family asks that flowers be omitted and contributions be given in his memory to Gadsden Church of Christ to assist their ministry in assisting those in need.
