He was predeceased by: his son Don; his parents, G. B. Knight and Verna Knight; and his sister Barbara Copeland (Wayne Knight III). He is survived by: his wife Martha; his children, Lane Knight, Shelly Henderson (Paul), John Mark Knight (April) and Jonathan Knight; his grandchildren, Taylor, Ashton and Kailey; and his great grandchild Decaley.
Visitation was held on Friday, August 29th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Rainbow Presbyterian Church (2201 Rainbow Dr, Gadsden, AL 35901). A funeral service was held on Friday, August 29th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
