She was predeceased by: her husband Johnny Clinton Horton; and her parents, Lelas A. Day and Sadie Johnson Day. She is survived by: her sister Alice Day Bean; her niece Cathy Bean Gamble; her nephew Larry Bean; and her great-nephew John J. Gamble (Kara). She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Friday, October 30th 2026 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the Collier-Butler Funeral Home (824 Rainbow Dr, Gadsden, AL 35901). A funeral service was held on Friday, October 30th 2026 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the same location. A committal service was held on Friday, October 30th 2026 from 2:25 PM to 3:00 PM at the Forrest Cemetery (700 S 15th St, Gadsden, AL 35901).
