She was predeceased by: her husband Samuel Franklin Abel (Frank); and her siblings, Lillian White, Novella Broom, Christine Meers, John Whitt and Calvin Whitt.

She is survived by: her daughter Rebecca Franklin; her son-in-law David Franklin; her nieces, Pat Baker and Anne Coker; and her great-nieces and great-nephews, Jennifer Henslee, Miriam Morris (Clay), Mark Baker (Chalet) and Reb Baker. She is also survived by several other nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the American Heart Association, Bellevue United Methodist Church, or to your favorite charity.
