With profound sadness, we say goodbye to Gary Kennedy Sr. (Gadsden, Alabama), whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. He was predeceased by: his wife Pat Kennedy; his parents, Willard Kennedy and Jimmie Mae Kennedy; and his brother Bill Kennedy. He is survived by: his children, Gary Kennedy Jr., Mitch Kennedy (LeAnn), Sonya Howard (Daryl) and Amy Gilley (Jason); his grandsons, Bryant Kennedy (Wesleigh), Jay Hardin, Dylan Stone (Kelsey) and Colton Stone; his great grandchildren, Landon, Raileigh, Marleigh, Skyler, Delilah and James; and his brothers, Clark Kennedy and Boykin Kennedy. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Friday, August 1st 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Crestwood Funeral Home (2209 E Broad St, Gadsden, AL 35903). A graveside service will be held on Friday, August 1st 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Crestwood Cemetery (2209 E Broad St, Gadsden, AL 35903).
