He was predeceased by: his parents, Dan B. Atkins, Jr. and Jimmie Ruth Atkins; his brother Jimmie Dan Atkins; and his daughter Gina Atkins. He is survived by: his sister Tallulah Atkins (Tully); his daughters, Michele Atkins (Shelby Cochran) and Amy Atkins Ward; his grandchildren, Dylan Ward, Mason Atkins (Hannah Atkins), Grace Ward Standridge (Nicole Standridge) and Caitlin Clem; and his great grandchild Gary Llewelyn Atkins.
A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, August 5th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Collier-Butler Funeral Home (824 Rainbow Dr, Gadsden, AL 35901).
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Humane Society Pet Rescue and Adoption Center in Gadsden, AL or your favorite charity.
