With profound sadness, we say goodbye to Geneva Lucille Benefield of Gadsden, Alabama, whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. For though she may have departed from our sight, her spirit remains a timeless beacon, guiding loved ones through the labyrinth of life's journey.
She was predeceased by: her husband Fred Benefield; her parents, Emmett Downs and Lucille Downs; and her sister Lavada Dalton. She is survived by: her daughters, Cindy Pike Sheffield (Ken) and Susan Johnson (Rex); and her grandchildren, Shauna Fuhrman Keiner (Todd) and Will Pike. She is also survived by cousins, nieces, and nephews; not to mention grand-dogs and "adopted" children.
