He was predeceased by: his wife Helen Faye Shaw (Johnson); his parents-in-law, Earl and Roxie Johnson; and his siblings, Bernard Shaw, Otis Shaw, Thelma Norman and Helen Bobo.
He is survived by: his daughter Vicki Conyer (Mike); his grandson Andrew Conyer (Hannah); his great grandchild Warner Todd Conyer; his siblings-in-law, David Johnson, Ramona Nash and Leona Shaw; and his daughter Angela Bledsoe. He is also survived by several nephews, nieces, great nephews, and great nieces.
