He is survived by: his children, Justin Spurgeon (Michelle), Derek Spurgeon, Alex Spurgeon, Stephanie Spurgeon, Ella Kate Spurgeon and Alexandra Beam (Justin); his grandchildren, Davalynn Spurgeon, Madalynn Spurgeon, Sarah Spurgeon, Jackson Spurgeon, Jane Spurgeon and Ariellah Gaddis; and his brothers, Fred Kilgo (Penny), Jimmy Kilgo (Farrah) and Gary Kilgo (Jean). He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
