With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of James Dewayne Bobo of Gadsden, Alabama, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on May 17, 2026 at the age of 68. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his daughters, Amy-Diane Bobo and Crystal Patterson; his sister Theresa Bobo; his father J. W. "Bo" Bobo; his grandparents, Uye, Gartrell Bobo, Margret and Luther White; and his parents-in-law, Roy and Elaine Brown.
He is survived by: his wife Charlene Bobo; his mother Ruby Bobo; his children, Carla West (Steve), Brian Bobo, Chris Frost (Tammy) and Traci Clanton (Billy Wayne); his grandchildren, Bryant West and Krislyn Green (Brandon); his great grandchildren, Wrenleigh and Ashtyn; his sisters-in-law, Sherri Ragan (Kenneth) and Debra Conley (Joe); and his close friend Michael West. He is also survived by aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins.
The family will be receiving flowers, or donations may be made to the funeral home below to help with funeral expenses.
