It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of James Edward Lumpkin (Gadsden, Alabama), who passed away on April 16, 2022, at the age of 74, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Nina Floy and Clarence Lumpkin; and his siblings, Ronnie Lumpkin, Courtney Lumpkin, Leon Lumpkin, Durwood Lumpkin and Wanda Lumpkin Wilbanks.

He is survived by: his daughters, Traci Lumpkin and Kristi Lumpkin Francis (Woody); his girlfriend Gay Farmer; and his grandchildren, Jacob Francis, Joseph Francis, Sarah Francis and Isaac Francis. He is also survived by nieces, nephews and cousin.
