Joyce Marie Mitchell Obituary
We are sad to announce that on May 28, 2025, at the age of 77, Joyce Marie Mitchell of Gadsden, Alabama passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her husband Don Mitchell; her parents, James T. Stringer and Jeanette Stringer; and her brother Kenneth Stringer. She is survived by: her son Jason Hall (Angie); her grandchildren, Tanner Hall and Lauryn Young (Garret); her great grandchild Saylor Grae Young; her sister Sandra Thompson (Roy); her friends, Paula, Carmen and Juanita; her caregivers, Jana, Jackie, Rita and LeAnn; and also Marie. She is also survived by nieces, nephews.
Visitation was held on Friday, May 30th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Crestwood Funeral Home (2209 E Broad St, Gadsden, AL 35903).
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to your favorite charity in Joyce's honor.
