June Stanford Smith Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of June Stanford Smith of Gadsden, Alabama, born in Chattanooga, Tennessee, who passed away on March 6, 2023 at the age of 96. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Sol Grant Stanford (Bud) and Freddie Odessa Kitchens Stanford; her brother Robert Grant Stanford (Glenn Thomas Smith); her sons-in-law, John Rucker Simmons and Samuel Hollis Reaves, Jr.; and her stepdaughter Fredith Jean Smith Davis.
She is survived by: her daughter Cynthia Robin Simmons (Brian Guckenberger) of Union Grove; her grandsons, Jonathan Ellis Simmons (Heather) of Lacey's Spring, Timothy Grant Simmons of Kelso, WA and Daniel James Simmons (Maegan) of Lakeland, FL; her stepdaughter Charlotte Smith Wilson of Kingsport, TN; and her great grandchildren, Ayden John Simmons, David Rucker Simmons, Luke Samuel Simmons and Ada Elisabeth Schacht.
