He is survived by: his wife Joy Faye Thompson; his children, Gregg (Candi Thompson), Joy Tilley Perryman, Chris (Kathy Thompson) and Joan (Lamar Coker); his grandchildren, Morgan, Dylan Cornelius, Jacob, Katherine Coker, Brinley Thompson, Peyton Coker, Emma Thompson and Brooklynn Thompson; his great grandchildren, Bryson and Addie Kate Cornelius; his brother Jimmy Thompson; his sisters-in-law, Delores Thompson and Becky Thompson; his nieces, Vicki Hester, Kim Hester and Susan Shanlever; and his brother-in-law Ronald Jackson (Ronnie). He is also survived by many family members in the way of sisters-in-laws.
