We are sad to announce that on May 20, 2025, at the age of 67, Linda Dial of Gadsden, Alabama passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Burl Ponder and Maurine Ponder (Heyes); and her siblings, Billy Ray Ponder of Birmingham, Talmage Ponder of Glencoe, Jerry Ponder of Gadsden, Glinda Fay Ponder of Gadsden, Vickie Ponder Autwell of Gadsden and Rebecca Ponder Cash of Gadsden.
She is survived by: her husband Brian Dial; her brother Ronald Ponder (Trisha) of Southside, AL; her children, LaSonia Carroll (Chris), Crystal Brooks (Rodney Clark), Carrie Roberts (Scott), Chase Dial (Paige) and Tiffany Thompson (Scott); her grandchildren, Samantha Sanders (Nick Hamrick), Trey Butler, Sidney Butler, Bradlie Sanders (Andrew Colly), Austin Roberts (Jessica), Kloie Roberts, Savanna Driver (Dekota), Trenton Nichols, Ella Tomson, Cody Carroll (Michelle) and Samantha Carroll; and her great grandchildren, Adalynn, David, Dylan, Maggie, Samuel, Evelynn, Mable, Zander and Phenick. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Friday, May 30th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Crestwood Chapel (2209 E Broad St, Gadsden, AL 35903). A funeral service will be held on Friday, May 30th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the same location. A burial will be held on Friday, May 30th 2025 at the Crestwood Memorial Cemetery (2209 E Broad St, Gadsden, AL 35903).
