She was predeceased by: her parents, Joel W. Helms and Adelaide Helms; her siblings, Janice Helms and David J. Helms; and her grandparents, Boston, Leona Helms, Antone and Evangeline Texeira.
She is survived by: her children, Jason Bodine of Gadsden, Kacie Beck (Kevin) of Gadsden and Nate Bodine of Gadsden; her grandchildren, Kirsten Butenhoff (Cyle), Abby Stewart (Drake) and Andrew Beck; her great grandchild Eden Stewart; her sister Nancy Ryan (Jon); her sister-in-law Sharron Helms; her former husband Pat Bodine; and her friends, Billie Faulkner and Dianne Payne. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Monday, June 30th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Crestwood Funeral Home (2209 E Broad St, Gadsden, AL 35903). A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, July 1st 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
