He is survived by: his brother-in-law Gary Pointer; his nieces and nephews, Michael Pointer (Jennifer), Garrett Pointer, Genny Duffey (Joseph) and Morgan Pointer; his great-nephews, Taylor Pointer, Alec Pointer and Gabriel Duffey; and his great-niece Payton Duffey.
