It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Mickey Joe Crook of Gadsden, Alabama, born in Spring Garden, Alabama, who passed away on January 22, 2021, at the age of 74, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Hoyt Crook and Elizabeth Crook. He is survived by: his wife Minnie Crook of Gadsden; his children, Marie Robinson (Bob) of Fulshear, TX, Steven Crook of Washington, D. C. and Gerald Crook Of (Melissa); his grandchildren, Pierce Talaeai (Kendra), Austin "Kana" Talaeai, Andrew Crook, Josh Crook, Ethan Crook, Grace Crook and Jackalyn Heath; his great grandchild Olive Talaeai; his sisters, Shirley Dupree and Debbie Gunn; and his friends, Marshea and Dale Welsh. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, the family request memorial contributions be made to St. Jude's Children's Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105-1905.
