She was predeceased by: her daughter Cindy Gilbert (Fay B. Gilbert); her parents, Charles Burtis Moultrie and Ola Mae Moultrie of Albertville; and her siblings, Ray Moultrie (Inez) of Albertville, Bob Moultrie (Ruby) of Chattanooga, Joe Moultrie (Colleen) of Madison and Ivalene Buckelew (Volis) of Albertville.

She is survived by: her husband Fay B. Gilbert; her daughter Peggy G. Fields of Brentwood, TN; her brother Glen Moultrie (Joyce) of Chattanooga; and her grandchildren, Clayton Fields (Megan) of Woodstock, GA, Lauren Parrish (Witt) of Franklin, TN, Michael Fields (Molly) of Cambridge, MA, Delaney, Remi Kate Fields of Woodstock, GA, William, Caroline and Cassidy Parrish of Franklin, TN. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be held on Saturday, October 4th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Collier Butler Funeral Home (824 Rainbow Dr, Gadsden, AL 35901). A memorial service will be held on Saturday, October 4th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the same location.

In place of flowers, donations may be made to First Baptist Church of Gadsden, the VFW, or the charity of your choice.
