We are sad to announce that on April 10, 2022, at the age of 86, Nora Jane Bowen of Gadsden, Alabama passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her husband Ernest Ray Bowen; and her parents, Chester Bearden and Nessie Bearden. She is survived by: her grandchildren, Kim (Nick) of Glencoe, Wesley (Jasmine) of Glencoe, Bradley of Glencoe, Madison (Kayla) of Huntsville and Landry of Ft. Payne; her great grandchildren, Brielle of Glencoe, Hudson of Glencoe, Maze of Glencoe, Bryson of Glencoe and Dallas of Huntsville; her sisters, Joline Uptain and Brenda Daniel (Ray) of Sardis; her nieces, Wanda Parker, Angela Gilliland (Kerry) and Alyssa Hanson (Jimmy); and her caregivers, Cammy Battles, Selena Morton, Scarlett Ledbetter, Deborah Goddard and Christal Whitmore. She is also survived by many other family members and friends.

The family requests in lieu of flowers, memorials be made to Amedisys Hospice, 115 West Grand Ave., Suite 70, Rainbow City, AL 35906.
