Patricia Gartman Obituary

With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Patricia Gartman of Gadsden, Alabama, who passed away on January 24, 2022 at the age of 74. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Margaret Smothers and Lloyd Smothers; her siblings, Linda Hopkins, Shirley Smother and Lamar Smothers; her grandson Brody Gartman; and her great grandchild Ezra Mangum.

She is survived by: her children, Tancie West, Tiphanie Chitwood and Chase Gartman; her children-in-law, Kevin West, Mark Chitwood and Christine Gartman; her grandchildren, Zac West, Alex West, Elise Mangum, Santanah Ward, Trent Gartman, Maci Marli and Maddi Chitwood; her great grandchildren, Bo, Colt West, Asa, Harper Mangum, Zada Mae and Renleigh Ward; her brother David Smothers (Tammy); and her close friend Mariland Teague. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

The church ask that masks be worn during visitation and the service and if you have Covid symptoms we respectfully ask that you not attend.

Potted green plants will be accepted at the Church of Love or donations may be made to St. Jude's, The Children's Hospital, or The Ronald McDonald House.
