In the sacred silence of farewell, Polly is released into the embrace of eternity, knowing that her light will continue to shine brightly in the tapestry of the lives of her loved ones. And as her memory is carried forward, may comfort be found in the knowledge that love is eternal, and that Polly's spirit lives on in the beauty that surrounds us.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Lumie Jones and Dorthy Jones; and her siblings, Rosie Ring and Virgil Jones. She is survived by: her husband James Worthington; her son Blake Worthington; and her siblings, Lumie Jones (Kim) and Sarah McCurry (Sammy). She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, September 23rd 2025 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Crestwood Funeral Home (2209 E Broad St, Gadsden, AL 35903). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, September 23rd 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to the America Cancer Society.
