With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Ray Edward Hope of Gadsden, Alabama, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on April 6, 2025 at the age of 89. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his wife Diona Lee Hope; his son John David Hope; his brother Alan Hope; and his parents, Helen Bennett and Cecil Bennett.

He is survived by: his children, Jerry Hope (Janet), Angie Griffin (Mike), Charlene Powell (Reggie), Hanna Barber (Zack), Tammy Foster, Allen Hope, Thomas Hope and Tim Holdbrooks; and his brother Mike Bennett. He is also survived by numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to the Leukemia-Cancer Associations in Ray's memory.
