With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Robert Lloyd McDowell Sr. (Gadsden, Alabama), born in Cape Girardeau, Missouri, who passed away on July 4, 2022 at the age of 83. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Geraldine Alice McDowell (Ferguson) and Clarence Lloyd McDowell. He is survived by: his wife Norma Jean McDowell (Lambert); his brother Ronald Eugene McDowell (Janet Claire McDowell) of Rome, GA.; his sons, Robert Lloyd McDowell, Jr. (Anne Kitchens McDowell) of Hoover, AL and Stephen Michael McDowell (Patricia Rose McDowell); and his grandchildren, Patrick Michael McDowell, Conner Riley McDowell and Kerri Lynn McDowell of St. Augustine, FL..
