He was predeceased by: his parents, Charlsie Vanzant and Homer Vanzant; his grandparents, Christine Vanzant, McCain, Willie D. Vanzant and McCain; and his siblings, Alvin, Ronnie, Shelly, Benjamin Vanzant and Mrs Margaret V. High.
He is survived by: his wife Paula English-Vanzant; his sister Paula V. Moreland; and his children, Desmond Reed (Katherine), Jerome L. Reed, Jaywanna Reed (Antonio), Jilwanna Lucas (James) and Brittany Clayborn. He is also survived by 19 grandkids, 5 great grandkids and a host of nieces, nephews and friends.
