With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Thomas Eugene Wright (Gadsden, Alabama), whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on August 15, 2025 at the age of 95. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his wife Verna Wright; his parents, Homer Wright and Ada Grace Wright; and his siblings, George, John, Jacob Wright, Faye Smith and Eunice Shaneyfelt.

He is survived by: his son Gary Wright (Marguaretta); his granddaughter Brianne Lambert (Terry); his great grandchild Trevor Townsel; his siblings, Frank Wright (Barbara), Mary Lois Mayo, Ruth Mayo, Reginal Wright (Glenda), Judy Hopwood, Danta Watwood, Janta Spence (Mark) and Ramona Jones (Jack); his sister-in-law Lillian Wright; and his grandchildren, Johna Shaneyfelt, Judd Pruitt, Jay Pruitt and Justin Pruitt. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
