She was predeceased by: her husband John Curtis Wright, Sr.; her parents, Daniel Webster Johnson and Eloise Weir Johnson Gray; her stepfather Col. John Ellis Gray; and her brother John Ellis Gray, II.

She is survived by: her children, Valerie Johnson (Tregg) and John Curtis Wright, III; her grandchildren, John Curtis Wright, Malone Johnson, Hannah Johnson, Hamilton Johnson (Chandler), Hayden Johnson and Daphne Corr (Bryan); and her sister Danylu Johnson McClamma. She is also survived by four great-grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers, the family asks that friends make donations to their favorite charity or church.
