Walter will be remembered for the time spent with loved ones and the moments that brought joy to those around him. He was predeceased by: his parents, Walter A. Daughdrill and Ruth Daughdrill; and his brothers, Robert and David. He is survived by: his wife Jane Daughdrill; and his children, Angie Persch (Bob), Stacy Daughdrill, James Daughdrill (Nicki) and Amanda Lewis (JC). He is also survived by 12 grandchildren; 21 great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, October 7th 2026 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Crestwood Memorial Funeral Home (2209 E Broad St, Gadsden, AL 35903). A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, October 7th 2026 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the same location.
