He was predeceased by: his parents, Wayne Marshall Lowe and Mavis Evelyn Traylor Lowe. He is survived by: his wife Hilda Flowers Lowe; his daughters, Kimberly Lowe Jolly (Russell) and Kendall Lowe Hamilton (Mark); his grandchildren, Jordan Lowe Jolly, Katelyn Jade Jolly and Kimberly Lauren Jolly; and his siblings, Rex Lowe, Larry Lowe (Cindy) and Ann Ross (Randy). He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to United Way of Etowah County, P.O. Box 1175, Gadsden, AL 35902 or Don Graham Revival Ministry; make check to Elkton Road Baptist Church, 19740 Elkton Road, Athens, AL 35614 (designate to Don Graham Revival Ministry).

“I REMEMBER DEVAN FROM THE DAYS HE USE TO COME TO ORLANDO TO GO TO THE AUCTIONS. ON HIS WAY OUT I WOULD KEEP HIS CAR FOR HIM TILL THE NEXT WEEK VISIT. I DID A LOT OF HIS TICKETS IN THOSE DAYS. DEVAN A GREAT EXAMPLE OF A GENTLEMAN. HE WILL BE MISSED BUT NO FORGOTTEN”
