He was predeceased by: his daughters, Cheryl Gaye Hunkapiller and Anita Hunkapiller Hall. He is survived by: his wife Martha Turner Hunkapiller; his grandchildren, Wes Coley, Ryan Coley, Drew Hall, McKinnon Hale and Daniel Sigler; and his sons-in-law, Bob Coley and Randy Hall.
