Margaret Boatwright Obituary
We announce the death of Margaret Boatwright of Gallant, Alabama, who passed away on July 2, 2026, at the age of 95. Margaret will be remembered by family members, friends, and others whose lives were connected in meaningful ways. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her husband Morris Boatwright; her parents, Melton Wood and Dona Wood; her son Dan Boatwright; and her granddaughter Rachel Davis.
She is survived by: her children, Annette Keener (Johnny), Walter Boatwright (Michelle) and Laura Stone (Mike); her daughter-in-law Rhonda Boatwright; and her pet Harley. She is also survived by grandchildren; five treasured great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces, nephews, extended family members, and dear friends.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorial contributions be made to either the UAB Center for Palliative and Supportive Care or the Bethlehem United Baptist Church Cemetery Perpetual Care Fund.
